When I looked at the rating I felt the book deserved, I thought of giving it a lower rating, and then not publishing a review on it at all, but after some thinking, I decided that I had to share my views on it. There was even a point where I thought that I wouldn’t finish the book at all.
I’ve been disappointed in books before, it’s fair to say, but never so much to this extent. I enjoy books about mystical forces and past lives quite a bit so I knew this was going to be a book for the 2021 pile and read it early in the year. I was pretty excited about reading this book based on the blurb, but I’ve now realised that it’s easy to sell a book with a few good lines but reading the book can be disappointing.
